He has a contract with the dreaded Hundred team but 3rd highest T20 wicket taker for Middlesex so he must be good.

Killer has been seconded as bowling coach to the England ODI side touring NL

seemingly they fly tomorrow, which will be why Carse couldn't play for us

"Cameron Steel was given out to a dubious lbw decision" -Espn reporter David Hopps.
The umpire?- Neil Pratt

maybe he wants Steel to play as the pro for Crook Town next season and is trying to scupper his Surrey contract

club have posted an injury update

Turner expected back before the end of the dribble, but no time put on that

Dicko was a hamstring tear sustained in the Glammy game and they hope that he might be back for the July matches

Bedders has a shoulder injury sustained in this game and he's away for a scan

No sign of a return for Woody

and Jack Campbell has been released with immediate effect. Sounds as though he wanted to be off. New opportunities is the phrase used, but whether that's cricket opportunities or something completely different, I don't know

I see the Bryan Adams concert has been cancelled due to " unforseen circumstances " , the rest of the tour seems to be going ahead so my guess is poor ticket sales.

I noticed it had disappeared from the club site. I think I just assumed it had happened. Wasn't this concert originally meant to take place in 2020?

I have a feeling it wasn't one of the postponed gigs but am not sure! Seems as if Ticketmaster had been offering two tickets for the price of one in recent weeks so that must mean they weren't selling.

the ECB have sandwiched in a test match against Ireland next year, and seemingly we're one of the counties in the frame to get it

I hope we don't tbh. It appears that Notts have a 'fallow year' payment arranged with the ECB which they are reluctant to give up by hosting a test match at TB

a fallow year payment?

so let me get this straight.... we had to pay the ECB through the nose for a deadbeat test against SL on the understanding that if we didn't, we wouldn't get an ashes test.... and Notts get payments from the ECB for not hosting a test match :hmmm

Major Major's father didn't grow alfalfa and the more alfalfa he didn't grow, the more he made in govt subsidies for not growing it. The classic catch 22

the really good news is that Hampshire fancy having it, so we might be overlooked. If Hampshire do get it, then doubtless the ECB will be giving us a fallow year payment as well :point
