well the WIndies are over here playing England in the first half of July, so if they do have a test series v SA it'll be when the nonsense is on, so shouldn't affect Bedders playing for us anyway

I can't get my head around the schedules these days! Seems completely random.

it's the T20 world cup that's thrown everything all ahoo
to demonstrate how much the WC has turned the summer on its head...... the ECB have had to schedule CC matches for August
who ever heard of such a thing

Ben Stokes isn't playing the World T20
He says he wants to concentrate on getting ready to play a full all-rounder role in tests. Also says he's looking forward to playing for Durham. Suspect we won't see him in the first few rounds.

I think he will play a few games. If he is going to bowl during the test matches he'll want overs under his belt..Although he surely won't be playing in the early rounds.
