Robbo was standing up to Raine and although he juggled the ball, he definitely caught it. Umpire must have thought that Tattersall didn't hit it, but every fielder around the bat went up straight away

De Leede and Glover were the most profligate of our bowlers. I wasn't particularly impressed with what I saw, tbh, they just bowled too short too often and then either too straight or too wide.

Ben Raine showed them exactly how to do it. He varied his pace, he varied his line. He bowled a fuller length and the batters found it really hard to get him away. His figures of 3-27 were ruined by a couple of lusty sixes from Weise in his final over. I think he was on 2-12 after his first 3 overs

Similar tale from Sowter. Two sixes in his last 3 balls made his 1-30 look far worse than it was. For 21 balls he gave them almost nothing.... 1-14 off his first 3 overs I think. He took the wind out of Yorkshire's sails at a time when they needed to go at 10 an over for 14 overs

Turner and Trev both bowled reasonably well on a batter friendly pitch, helping to contain the Yorks batsmen, who had a lot to do by then and frustrating them rather than giving them any momentum from which to build

Based on what I saw today, I think we have the tools to restrict the batting once the PP is done, but the opening bowling worries me a bit. The flying Dutchmen conceded 61 in the first 5 overs, then Raine came on and conceded 2 runs in the 6th by bowling a better line and length, so there's something there to work on

I didn't realise it was 11.30 start!
It would have taken something special to chase down that target although I seem to remember Yorkshire chasing down 200 + against us here and looking at the rates of scoring they were just threatening to pull it off - always highly unlikely though.
Seems remarkable to have only lost 3 wickets in 2 games.
Early days but Glover hasn't started well - Parnell could come in for him.

Yes and de Leede will be off to the WC quaiifiers soon. Apparently it was our first T20 win at Headingley for 10 years!

From what I've seen of his bowling, de Leede poses a threat but is pretty erratic. Ironically- given he arrived as a white ball specialist- that's less of an issue in the red ball game than the white one - a few wayward overs in the CC are unlikely to be game changers but they could well be in T20.
Despite the blistering start I think Notts will still be favourites tomorrow- no doubt Lees and Campbell will disagree.
