Yorks might do it in two balls...

Good match.

I think Durham had to do it today. Fresh bowlers, batters having to start again. There have been quite a few questionable lbw decisions in this match and I can see another one early tomorrow. According to crapinfo, Michael Jones was given out 'on the totting up rule', in that there had been so many appeals against him during his innings that eventually the umpire stuck up his finger, despite the appeal having almost no more merit than any of the others
Looking at a lot of the dismissals, the ball seems to be jagging around sharply from the foot marks. The ball that bowled Lees pitched about as far away from the stumps as the Strauss ball. One of the Yorkshire batsmen got out to a Raine ball that pitched miles outside off and ripped back into him trapping him in front of off stump offering no shot....... why would he....... the ball was pitched up a little bit and on about 6th stump.... jagged back a mile
Plenty of balls are keeping quite low too, seemingly, so there really isn't much there for the Durham lads to work with tomorrow.
