playing until 7.15 on an outground in April after a stop start day for the weather. Who'd have thunk it?
If we'd been batting I bet we'd have lost a wicket in the 3 overs before the close.

Worcs bowled out for 184. We have our first 3 bowling points and a 60 run lead. 5 players were bowled, so I'm guessing there's a bit of movement out there.
Bat sensibly boys.... set a big target

Pretty good bowling effort by the looks of it apart from that irritating last wicket stand.

what did they put on... about 30 was it?
Lees falls cheaply again and now Ackermann has followed. 64-2 lead by 124

Yes. Not massive but looks like it's going to be a low scoring game.

Great innings from him and excellent from Borthwick ( apart from the run out!) Not sure why Coughlin came in up the order. Forecast looks very poor for Monday so time is of the essence.

I've been out since 5pm, so first chance to see the score at COP
Bedders must have got out just after I posted, but clearly once he got to 50 he put his foot to the floor.
319-5 after 64 overs. We could have used that in the first innings, but I suppose the worry is that the pitch has flattened out. Might be a chance for Parky to earn his corn at some point tomorrow

I could understand it if there were 5 or 6 overs left when he walked out, but there were about 19.

It is strange. They must have wanted him to try and smash some quick runs but that'd only make sense if they were planning on declaring before the close. And after he was out it was pretty sedate progress for the remaining overs. A mystery.
