The prospect of seeing Jofra Archer, Ollie Robinson, Jayden Seales and Ari Karvelas lining up together on Friday on green early April wickets has me all warm and fuzzy inside, but I guess we can never count on the two England lads fitness at the moment, so I am prepared to be disappointed.

you'll have to be. Just been announced that Archer will play no test cricket until 2025. It's hoped he may be available for the WC and so will only play white ball cricket this year

Pre tea. Sussex allowed the batters to leave too much. Post tea they bowled well. Combined with Procter playing his natural game and having a makeshift opener in Broad it made for slow progress. I think they will be happy though. Off for bad light now.
