I got an e mail today from Durham CCC regarding a ticket app for the phone. I've assumed this means for bought tickets, but it does mention a folder for membership.
Are we still using the cards or has that been replaced now? Nothing helpful on the club website, of course

I'm assuming you can use either card or the app. Downloaded it but nothing there yet - think it's getting activated next week. Given the problems they've had I'm the past with technology I'll be surprised if there aren't issues with it!

I think this is the last year of Bedders 4 year deal, unless he's signed an extension and I just haven't noticed
just noticed (or I had forgotten) that Stonemercenary was released by Middlesex at the end of last season..... I should pay more attention

You're right The Cricketer magazine mentioned it's his last year.

No Turner for us in the T20 this year.... he's signed for Lancs
solves our Bedders problem whilst allowing us to have an overseas opening bowler

According to The Daily Mail we're likely to sign Brendan Doggett for the first 7 Championship games and possibly in rotation with Scott Boland.
Doggett was someone I had not heard of but he has been in test squads and apparently could be an Ashes contender.

Not heard of him either. Decent first class record, but not mind -blowing. Having said that, I was excited about Boland, and he lasted about ten minutes. I suppose availability is the main issue, as always.
