Fair play to you Mike, all I can say is that we are pretty hot at present and on a roll.
For what it's worth Jordan looks almost back to full fitness, and definitely one to stick with whilst Tom Maynard and Steve Davies will serve Surrey well in the future.
As for the others, probably not up to it I'm afraid.

That's the story of Surrey in recent times, I must admit....
:facepalm
One wicket and just seven runs in the first innings, so not the greatest of returns for Jordan. I hope the selectors don't then discard him for a month, or so.

I see Collymore took a couple of wickets, as they were spread around. Let's see if Surrey bat better following on....

Well guys don't say I didn't warn you,but seriously though Surrey were unfortunate to come up against us in such excellent form.
Their form can only improve and I'll not be surprised to see them as one of the contenders to go up with Middlesex come September.

Davies made 90-odd in the second innings, but the next highest scorer was Jordan with 22....

It was indeed....

He only made 37, but he's probably just warming up. Good to see Surrey getting a lead on first innings, too.

Jason Roy - The Virender Sehwag of English cricket.

His approach to opening the batting this season has been a joy to behold.

Averaging 43.60 in FC cricket with a strike-rate of over 100! Sensational!

With Hales, Stokes, Roy and Taylor all 22 or younger, our future ODI and T20I side looks very tasty!

Surrey have yet again failed to live up to expectations and can look forward to another season in the bottom division ,whilst The Mighty Middlesex are big odds on to reach the top flight, strongest pace attack in either division sees them set to carry all before them and grab the division Two title.

So Surrey revival sees them on the brink of great things,a one day domestic final and a realistic chance of joing neighbours Middlesex in the top flight next season.
We wish them well and send our congratulations to Grizzly and Captain Rory who seem to be repaying the faith invested in them.
