Ah excellent. I was hoping someone would turn up at Lord's with a fishing rod and some chicken.
Anything can happen with a round ball.

Coz we're going up, and we'll win the cup, for Sussex by the Sea!

Definitely a win win situation for ECB. If England lose? blame KP for all the distractions that happened. If by chance England win? see it was great that we threw him out :D

Reckon the ECB will take a bit of criticism if they lose, especially if our batting fails.

Kind of but KP has never been on Top Of The Pops!

Only because TOTP no longer exists.

As M_S said, what purpose does dropping KP serve?

Bairstow is a talented player but him facing the SA attack at this stage? No thanks. I'd rather have a man with 21 Test centuries to his name.

What I want to know is who leaked this to the press?

KP texted two SA players I believe. Now KP wouldn't be stupid enough to say something about it to a journo so it's not looking good for either of the recipients of the alleged texts.

It was someone from the SA camp.

Well, that's one way of upsetting our team morale.

I don’t think so, iatw. Many will accept is a price worth paying for upholding principles. Anyway, if they do, they should simply ignore it.

It is really quite amusing to see some here trying to defend the indefensible.

Pietersen should either have denied the allegations or apologised. He did neither. With any luck, this is the last time he will be the cause of distraction from preparation and playing for the England team.

No, it's just not like Pietersen to act stupidly, on the field or off it.

Dont the SA players have their phones conviscated during games ?? In which case was probably the SA team manager, and boot on the other foot, you'd expect TeamEngland to leak it to the press too.
