I think we'll see KP back in the teams for the India series, as soon as Morris and his ilk decide to actually work behind closed doors a resolution will be fairly quick.

sadly no, some use printed paper that mimics it but no-one use real newspaper, i think it stopped in the early/mid 90's

At the end of the day you can never have a blunt and honest conversation when you are not convinced that they will remain behind closed doors. A huge obstacle in the varous interest groups getting down and having those frank talks that they really need to has been the very public way this has been played out thus far.

Just fed up of continual repetition of your anti ECB stance.

Pointing out that errors have been made is not an "Anti ECB" stance, I think I actually criticised the attempts to set up a dipole over the issue fairly recently.

I reckon a few are fed up with the anti KP stance as well.

And far too many think the sun shines out of his arse.

The ECB did what they considered right and regardless of what a few people on a message board think it wont change that, KP all summer has been trying to play the victim when the reality is something different. in simple terms the ECB refused to cow-tow to what a lot of people class as a premadonna who beleives his own media hype that England are useless without him, well wake up England dont need him.

They didnt need him in the ODI's or T20's during the middle of the summer and they seem to be adjusting quite well to life without him in this test.

Sorry if you dont agree but to be QFH I really dont give a dam.

And some of think that KP has been a prat this summer and that the ECB have dealt with the situation in a fairly cack handed manner.

Whether we need him or not will be clear by the end of the Indian tour, I suppose. Not sure there is a player in England who can take the attack to the Indian spinners the way he can. Some of the other players might hate him as a person but an in form KP makes things easy for the guy at the other end. He also works harder on his game than any other England player yet he is described as "arrogant". He also guides a young player making his debut. I have never seen KP purposely drop catches of any bowler either even if he doesn't share the best of relationship with him.
I have not see him run too many players out either just because he doesn't like them. And despite all the media criticism and intens scrutiny over his future, he still goes out on the field and manages to and produce his finest test innings making the best bowler in the world look mediocre while the others just fall like a pack of cards.

But why does that matter? Of course, what he does in the dressing room is far more important.

Boycott says on the BBC that criticising your captain is a serious breach of trust...! Is there a captain of England that Boycott actually got behind? Denness, Greig, Brearley, Botham? Anyone?
I always say that everybody's right.
