If its true that KP told the SA players to try bowling around the wicket to Strauss to get him out, ( which im sure we will find out the exact content of messages once SAs tour ends ) then it will be interesting to see who is willing to offer him deals anymore.

I read in the Daily Mail that Steve Waugh is calling for lie detector tests for all cricketers, to see exactly who has been discussing their own team with the opposition. I expect nothing less.

The South Africans were bowling round the wicket to Strauss and getting him out doing it back in 2009 / 2010, in fact the very first over of this series England faced Morkel got Strauss out from round the wicket.

I think even KP - or the rather bais media - might have a hard time claiming credit for that.

Maybe he told them that we have an issue at number six. We don't have a great reverse swinger. We lack a fifth bowling option. Trott is good on the leg side but plays across straight ones early on...

Or maybe that we field 11 players in a playing XI.

Ah, sorry Arthur, I hadn't been on... no I can't, but I know that I am unfortunately for most 'unblockable' - hence the "hahah, if only you could" comment.

Listening to TMS yesterday lunch was enlightening, I didnt agree with what was being said by some of the writers except that KP has a long road back. Sadly we'll never know the exact contents of the texts as all parties involved will (if they have a modicome of intelligence), have deleted them.

But the press seem to have been very well briefed about their contents which makes you think that the SA camp have taken a degree of satisfaction in them getting out to the public, one can only imagine smith grinning from ear to ear about how events unfolded.

I just feel that if SA did release these to the press intentionally then they have gone down in my estimation as there are ways of winning, its a shame the press dont name names, though thats usually a general coverall for press suposition.

Watched KP getting booed whilst coming out to bat for Surrey. I'm not on his side and tbh think he's acting/acted like an idiot but I did feel a bit sorry for him!

I think it was just the hampshire fans havinga go after what happeend last year. they arnt exactly the most unbiased where KP is concerned.

It was a bit much to expect Hampshire fans to be happy for him, after the way he left the club last year. Its like the reception he got on returning to Hampshire, or when Illingworth used to play at yorks after leaving the club for a competator.

I can only imagine the cheer that went up when he was bowled first ball.

I seem to remember the members at Trent Bridge booing him during and ODI or Test, just after he left Notts in wake of the destruction he left in their dressing room.

I know some of the fans at hants were saying they didnt know whether to slow clap, Boo, or just give him the silent treatment before he walked out.

the fact that he was originally down to open with RHB, but switched to 4 suggests Surrey had concerns about the reception hed get.
