I assume you reserved the same "put up or shut up" scorn for Andy Flower when he admitted he had no evidence of the content of certain text messages?

Last I heard KP didn't for instance tell to SA bowlers to go around the wicket yet people keep believing that one.

Anderson and Swann should be questioned by ECB. If they have indeed helped in creating this twitter mess then ECB might take action against them as well like they did to KP about team unity.

If the ECB is going to be even-handed, I would think that some investigation has to be made into the activities of Swann and Anderson....

I can't wait to see KP in the IPL!
8-)

Yes, ECB have to be fair in dealing with every cricketer. They cannot punish one and let the other scott free, if found guilty.

KP will draw huge crowds if he plays in all IPL matches for daredevils.

They will draw huge crowds whether Pietersen plays or not.

Yes , have to agree with that as well. Crowds were full even when Sachin didn't play some IPL matches. But still, KP in T20 is a delight to watch. No plodding with the bat.

The IPL is the ideal setting for KP, it simultaneously boosts his ego and bank account in equal measure.
Work expands to fill the time available, so why do today what can be put off until tomorrow.

didn't the twitter account in question also exist however ?

and i suppose it was a complete coincidence that the guy who was behind it shared a house with broad at the time the account was setup and that broad started following it within an hour or so of its creation, followed by other members of the england squad shortly after and that details of conversations KP has said he had with members of the england squad were then parodied on said account

but one for all and all for one and all that , unless your name is KP of course :salute

So on that line of thinking, my wife has grounds for divorcing me because she knows I received a text message from another women, and on the sole basis that I admitted to receiving said text, she has proof that I am cheating on her?

Andy Flower dropped KP, then in the subsequent press conference admitted to not having seen the offending text or know what they say.... in doing so he made himself look stupid, especially when he was sounding off about integrity and honesty....

See above.... England took action on KP on heresay and unproved remarks, when a counter accusation is made the people involved have not been disciplined, and there has been no dropping of said players until they can prove their innocence otherwise. Sorry, sounds like pretty harsh double standards to me.

See above. Andy Flower has publically stated he has never seen the texts, so with this we know its not fact.

This England team has become a mess. Never thought any team could come so close to Pakistan team in terms of controversies.

those are facts

before the account was deleted you could see who was following it and when they started following it

but of course thats all a coincidence and they had absoltely nothing to do with the content of it did they ...

a guy whose closest connection to KP was that he shared a house with one of KP's team-mates just decided to start a twitter account mocking KP off his own back

Is it off his own back, or off his own bat? I'm not nitpicking, just I've never been sure.
