SL asking to postpone the test series v SA to play a Tri-series of ODI in it's place suggest their interest in test cricket is now zero and the SLPL. IPL and OdI games are their sole interest. Maybe they should be removed from the Future tour schedules and make if official. Bangladesh and NZ may soon follow suit.
Work expands to fill the time available, so why do today what can be put off until tomorrow.

In the 1975 John Player League there were 136 matches played that season but only one no-result.

Azharuddin has had his life ban from cricket lifted by Andhra Pradesh High Court after it was decided it was legal. A pretty painfull recognition that despite the best attempts of Boards the legal system can undo them, a worrying sign with Asif and Butt heading to court next year.

Does ECB charge the news/photo agencies etc when the series happens in England. I am not getting what this is all about and whats the reason behind such a stance Is it justified :dunno
