André Leslie (of seffer origin, I am guessing) must feel well the odd man out. (only one my {admittedly biased} spellchecker accepts as is)

Good luck to them. Plenty of talk of a certain Fahwad Ahmed playing for Australia, and as for England, having an English accent AND a Anglo Saxon name is a definite disadvantage these days.........

That seems to be when all ICC changes come into effect each year.

Coming in straight away after all, I think. Certainly the new changes will be in operation for the ashes.

Compton gets ahead in top 5 .No A B D who played so well in test format against a strong bowling attack of Pakistan in bowler friendly conditions. Not even Ajmal ?

In spite of the fact that the criticism of the Wisden five is a traditional signifier of the beginning of the English season, I do think they might as well just make it a global award. The English season doesn't seem so much the whole world, as much as it might have 50 years ago. Not that it really matters.
