He seems to be unhappy about foreign players playing in IPL and foreign cricketers playing in the domestic teams for a period of two months maximum. However, he has not spoken that there are so many South African and other nationals (Ireland ) who have moved to play for England forever and in process of settling in England for playing in county cricket or place in England international team forever. Has he forgotten KP,Morgan,Rankin,Goodwin,Azhar Mahmood,Magoffin,Tanvir,Gayle and many others moved to England for County (temporarily or permanently) and for Friends life T20 (temporarily).Cricket has become a profession and like there are citizens of each country moving to other countries for jobs. Why should cricketers not have such freedom of job selection or teams they play for. It should be boards concern whether to select players who play for multiple teams or not select them. Athertons point will never be taken well in principle unless England board will stop taking players from other countries.
Also, cricket is number 1 game in India for sure whereas i guess football is no 1 in England

Will it be okay for Indian or Australian/South African football board to say that England football board distribute equal money to our football board because they make comparatively huge money. Not every industry is going to prosper equally in each country and cricket is also not exception. It will thrive in India and not so much in other countries where cricket is not number 1 sport.
It has become too complex a situation and every board has to take the blame equally for the mess of player movements affecting some or other teams.it not just that BCCI is doing the player movement. The players are willingly shifting various countries for financial gains.
