Third time lucky for Bradford Park Avenue (of the Conference North) as they beat Kidderminster Harriers (of the Conference National) 2-1 in the FA Trophy. A fantastic game to watch too, got far more entertainment out of that than Oldham v Bradford today and at half the price.

Utd's young winger - Janujaz is up for young sports personality of the year. Is that a bigger joke than Giggs winning the main one?

I thought you have to be of British nationality to be even in contention for SPOTY? Either way it's an awards ceremony just desperate for a shortlist.

Rory Delap announces his retirement from football after failing to recover from a hamstring injury.

Very under-rated football and not for his uber long throw-ins.

Funny how a 'gay' player/sportsman has to inform everyone, like he has leprosy or something.

Players revealing their sexual orientation is not newsworthy and only appeases the self-serving group with their own agenda. Folk participate in sports for pure enjoyment, the players off-field background is completely irrelevant.

It's the fact that gay sportsmen feel they have to let people know. Maybe one day, it won't be such a big deal?
