Good thing for him he wasn't. They'd have taken a much dimmer view of fraternisation with the enemy then.

I know I'm sounding like an interfering old ****, but shouldn't it be up to the original poster if the title is changed?

Is KP really an an enigma or simply a talented fella from a relatively ordinary background who's fame and fortune has gone to his head.
Work expands to fill the time available, so why do today what can be put off until tomorrow.

Yes it should, who changed it?
"Stats are there to be broken" Dominic Cork
"They took all our players away, banned our captain and we still came away with a ten-wicket victory" Jason Gillespie
"You won't get anywhere slouching about half out of bed" Geoffrey Boycott

Yes, I preferred the original title. It could only have been better if it had said "all cricket".

There is no clause in England's new central contracts which state categorically the rights and restrictions on involvement in IPL - that is impossible due to the tournament's unpredictability.

I don't understand why ECB approached the T20 format so poorly.By that i mean that FLT20 was played even before IPL and even ICL started in India.Okay, they did not think it wise to expand the T20 format, but at least after seeing the success of IPL revenue wise the ECB management should have changed approach to get a better position financially in World Cricket and also avoid the ongoing issues with their players playing for IPL etc.Players from Australia, Pakistan, WI , NZL are already participating in their FL T20.So the setup is all ready, it just a management that needs to be changed to make it immensely popular and successful as well as avoid the players being lured by other T20 tournaments.Even Big Bash which started just few years back will get more popular than FLT20 in an year or so.It seems they are sleeping or not care enough just because it is T20 format.

Wow. Close on three and a half thousand posts just on Pietersen. Impressive. He himself would be impressed.

Looks like there will be plenty more to come soon as well.
Maybe

It seems completely possible that Flower could move KP on without this controversy. All he has to do is thank him for his career, point out his scores are in decline and wish him good luck in the future.
