KP can say that he outscored all his teammates in this Ashes even after playing daft shots. Definitely more worth than other batsmen...
Finn can claim he is the only bowler except Broad who returned back without denting his overall career avg.

Stokes, Borthwick and Rankin didn't hurt their career averages either.

Well, I guess only KP has an argument to ask for more money then...
That'll make a few people happy out here...

The Mail now saying KP goes unless Cook is removed as captain.

I assume that The Mail is not the paper that Pietersen writes (is written) for?

That's because it's not in the Mail and is a journalist letting his imagination run riot. We normally file this under BS.
Work expands to fill the time available, so why do today what can be put off until tomorrow.

Isn't KP's ghost a Mail writer, Paul Newman?

I'd have no idea, but you'd like the name attached to the above story, Arthur - a Peter Hayter. Pietersen's got them everywhere.

I think he might have written Freddie's autobiography.

Hmm. Rather contradicts itself doesn't it ?

At first it is all "Decision is made ...KP is finished ...unacceptable etc etc"

Then it ponders on whether he might continue in limited overs....Surely if he is considered a liability due to attitude you don't want him anywhere near the squad ?

You never know what is going to happen next with KP . I hope he isn't lost to English cricket. But I think we can safely bet against him regaining the captaincy :)

If true, and given that the word in the title of this thread used to describe Pietersen starts with an "e" and ends with an "a", perhaps the order ought to be reversed.
