I guess another reason Norwich might regret delaying MacKay appointment an extra day will be Celtic..... MacKay was at Celtic as a player and would no doubt be high on their list, Lennon must be West Brom bound imo

Moyes and Henrik Larsson are the early favorites for Celtic now.

Wouldn't be surprised if Paul Lambert is on their list too.

Surely Moyes wouldn't waste his time their? His stock hasn't dropped that low?

I wouldn't bet against Moyes finishing second, even in Scotland.

Jose Fonte, Dejan Lovren and Rickie Lambert have been named in Bloomberg Sports’ Power 50 list for their displays in the 2013/14 season.
The system, which has only just released its second edition, provides objective rankings of all-round performances from players across Europe’s top five leagues – England, Spain, Italy, Germany and France.

Saints defenders Fonte and Lovren were selected for effectiveness in tackling and interceptions, along with their ability to defend as a unit and the inferior amount of goals conceded compared to what was initially estimated.

Lambert made the cut based on efficiency in terms of goals, shots and creativity. The striker was also rewarded for his ability to retain possession, along with dribbles and placement of passes.

Lovren was the highest-placed Southampton representative in 31st position with centre-back partner Fonte closely behind in 35th.

Lambert narrowly made it onto the list with a 45th-placed finish – three spots ahead of fellow England striker Wayne Rooney.

So they interviewed Malky Mackay, Neil Lennon, Zola and gave the job to the bloke who lost all 5 matches he had, and who has no management experience....

Whilst it looks strange on paper, not only is he the cheapest option, but maybe the players wanted him ?

John Ruddy suggested he wanted to see Adams get it.
