did he have anything to do with them? I thought he bought the club and gave it to his sons?

Not sure how it worked but the sons were the ones effectively running the club so nothing will change at the club in that respect.

Never set foot in Old Trafford apparently.

Interesting theory that Liverpool and Southampton are doing this so Lallana deal can be less and thus less money is passed on with the sell on clause.

Either way it looks like a fire sale at the saints this summer. Think we have now also paid for fox(no loss for saints), but alot of money will be coming in. Where it goes will be very interesting.

I did hear that we were in talks with Bournemouth over selling the clause for a fixed fee, not sure if thats true.

Feels like my hearts been ripped out with Lambert talks though.

Lambert was the player that followed saints through the divisions. Big loss.

Almost thinking of putting a 5 on the saints going down next year :no

I would, you can get 12/1, if we can find a way to keep s.davis, schneiderlin and fonte it'll be a start.

J-rods injury will prevent him leaving this window.

Ofc its all speculation and no-one has left yet ( except poch ), but no manager is going to want the job, no good manager anyway.

I hear it's the three L's of Lallana, Lovrens and Lambert to join the three S's of Suarez, Sturridge and Sterling.

Didn't realise Lambert was dropped by Liverpool as a youngster.

Bristol Rovers are owed 20% of the profit we make on Lambert (we signed him for £1m), so that theory can be put in the bin.

I've never heard anything about that Brendy...I know that he had a clause that we had to pay them after he made 30 league appearances, I thought that was the only clause.

You take Lambert, Shaw and Lallana out of our team, and given the money we'd have to hopefully reinvest, I would still take our squad over many other PL squads.

We owe Bristol Rovers 20% of any profit. Bristol Rovers will owe Rochdale 25% of what they receive from us.
