I think France will upset Germany and Brazil step up their game in the quarters to get the better of Colombia. I hope I'm wrong, in the second instance.

There was no mind games with the flu thing. I believe 7 players did have it but the only severe cases either happened to subs or they've recovered (e.g. Hummels who missed the last match).

Germany have won this despite a completely malfunctioning frontline. Ozil, Muller, Klose and Schurrle were very poor. Neuer is insane and Hummels had an outstanding game. Brilliant header to score the goal and some amazing clearances. Thought Khedira and Kroos were pretty good too.
