Him, Fellaini and RVP are not even training yet I don't think cos of the world cup.

Ashley Young has been great at wingback but only pre season.

Felliani is apparently on this way out I thought.

Ashley Young has said he's enjoying himself more now (presumably a dig at the Moyes regime). If Fellaini was to leave (and personally I think he should) Utd would have to take a hit on the transfer fee compared to what they paid for him.

Napoli have apparently made an offer to United, Benitez has said they are waiting for a response, but it seems its a loan to buy deal being proposed with Napoli offering only 2 million for his wages.... Man United apparently want over double, and have yet to respond.

Rodwell and Mutch both sold today for 10mil and 5mil, I'd of taken either of those at Saints, especially at those prices.

Yeah, quite a turnaround for Arsenal after a very poor Emirates Cup. Astonished at how poor City were though. The Giroud goal was terrific.

No Hart. No Zabaleta. No Aguero. No Fernandinho. No Demichelis. No Sagna. No Negredo. Only 45 minutes from Silva.

Yeah, I wont be reading too much into that result.

Whilst its not much of an indication, Arsenal were without Ozil, Mertesacker, Podolski, Walcott. only 45 mins from Giroud.

Thats off the top of my head, probably more missing, encouraging signs from them.

Had Chambers and Monreal at CB for the second half. Though I do think Arsenal's team was closer to their first team than City's.
