The beautiful game!

Adidas said it themselves. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/footba ... didas.html

But adidas say the consultancy firm's figures are based on the 900 shirts flogged in the official Madrid club shop on the day of his presentation and do not know if 'sales extrapolated globally' although the sponsors' have not released official stats.

Also Real Madrid will not have a deal where they recoup all of sales anyway.

From Sean Dyche

"I learned good moral values from Brian Clough," says the 43-year-old former Nottingham Forest youth team player. "From my parents too. Manners, being polite, respectful. Our players don't walk off the coach with their cans (headphones) around their neck.

I'm liking him already.

By good moral values, manners and respect, does he mean that he insults openly gay players in the dressing room, punches his own fans and players, slags of the current best team in the land and their manager constantly through verbal attacjs, and plans on melting his liver with booze?

Brian Clough wouldn't achieve anything treating players like that nowadays. Even managing big reputation players in his day he struggled with....

Thought you were on about Dyche at first.

Cloughie was an odd ball and very much 'of his time'. Still should have been England manager though.

This is why Malky Mackay didn't get the Palace job and if this is true, he might struggle to get a job in football again -

Hard to believe what is true here... while it would explain the ridiculous treatment he received in being sacked so quickly, and would also explain why he apologised to Vincent Tan afterwards, having read the previous about what was going on at Cardiff, it could also be another mental attempt by the powers that be at the club to make themselves look like absolute prats.
