Saints, i mean well done, and credit to Villa to. Both teams were going for relegation according to some.

there comes a point however that the amount of money they could lose at every home game in attendance , merchandising and food/drink etc cancels out what it would cost to pay the compensation

I suspect there'll be some kind of clause that allows him to sack Pardew without paying up the full term.

Their 2014 record reads something like 15 points from 25 games. If a PL side has that record from 1 August, rather than from 1 January, they find themselves needing a miracle to avoid relegation. Not to mention that most chairman these days would have pulled the plug on the manager by now with that record.

With Liverpool really struggling, that should make it easier for Uniteds chances of finishing top 4.

I haven't seen much of Liverpool this season but is this poor form down to them no longer having Suarez? I know one man doesn't make a team but he had a big influence last season.
