I think LVG made a mistake ditching Welbeck.

One of Utd's best players last season and he is improving all the time.

I agree....

However, if you follow the media, you'd think Rooney played a massively more important role than Welbeck in England's win last night.

Of course you would, Rooney is white, so you automatically have a problem with him.

Lets ignore the brilliant work to win the penalty, and then the extremely well hit penalty. Or the numerous examples of Rooney chasing the ball over the pitch and making key passes.

But hey, Welbeck popped up in the box twice, so he must be a god.

He's got 2 goals in 8 or 9 league games. He hasn't shown enough yet imo so way too early to say that. LVG has faith in James Wilson to be better and we'll see.

Good result.

Scotland for England on Tuesday. Bound to be a few changes. As with most people, I'd like to see Hart rested, and see Theo given a run out.

Can't get motivated about an England-Scotland game any more.

It used to be huge. End of season in the Home International competition. Full strength teams too, no-one was rested because they'd just played in the cup final. Now it's just another match.

Doubt it, cant see him wasting a sub on a GK...SHOULD be Forster that plays

Isn't there unlimited subs? If not then yes, doubtful he'll swap.
