Whelan might need to check into a clinic asap.

No sane person would appoint this bloke.

and Whelan is now getting flak for what I think is a fairly innocuous comment but it just adds to the drama

Nothing like a bit of free national publicity by Premier Range Kitchens to pull out of a sponsorship deal.

As for Kick it Out releasing a statement on whether Dave Whelan is a fit and proper person to run a football club, that is laughable bordering on insulting. The organisation should concentrate on removing the ills in football, rather than going down the witch hunt route and tarnish a reputation of a well respected individual.

What makes him a "well respected individual" ?? Was it the hiring of a racist ?? The defending of a racist by calling it a "small mistake" ?? Or the anti-Semitic comments he made earlier today ??

It's getting to the stage where you can't say or do anything these days without upsetting the PC brigade, coupled with this over the top gesturing at Sheffield Utd, the World is just getting over sensitive. Time to get back to a sensible balance.

The Mackay incident is a difficult one, as it was a private conversation. It is a PC world, on the other hand, I heard someone the other day, say if hanging was brought back, we'd all pay, and get the popcorn out, and go and watch. It's a strange old world :dunno

Thats my point, its one extreme to another. What happened the tolerant level headed reaction, too boring and sensible maybe?

And it's one of the reasons British comedy is not as good as it used to be.

Mostly draws at the top of the Championship, only Derby took advantage.

Saw a stunning goal by Kermorgant at Dean Court, sublime technique.
