The West Indies collapse in a heap. To be fair to them though, this is the pace bowling line up in Test cricket and Harmer looks a heck of a lot more threatening that Tahir ever did.

Can't see Petersen playing for a while when JP gets fit. He's Test cricket's version of Ian Bell in ODIs, looks good, scores a pretty 30 or so runs and gets out.

I was going to ask that. I've not seen this game (can't risk encountering Robin Jackman) but there have been murmerings on the internet. And it might answer why he's not been picked before. If he is dodgy, this is appalling timing from CSA!

As far as I have noticed, like Shane Watson, he struggles with the ball moving into his pads early on, but once he gets set if you make the mistake of bowling for the LBW he can really punish you. He is an excellent leg side player, and I have seen a few teams pay for continually drifting into his pads. England clearly did half their homework on him because they targeted the lbw when he played against us, but then he scored well of his legs.

Mind, a good bowler with a bit of controlled swing can draw him to the offside, then bring one back to him, and so he has struggled against pace bowlers who can do that, and I think against spin that plant the front foot style has been a little unravelled.
