Yes, it's the capital of Tobago, where Dwight Yorke came from....
At Couva, the match between Barbados and CCC was abandoned without a ball being bowled.

At Queens Park Oval, Guyana crushed the Windwards by 142 runs. Raj Chandrika hit 52, and captain Vishal Singh 49, as Guyana piled up 227-6 off their 50 overs, offspinner Shane Shillingford taking two wickets. Then, left-arm spinner Veerasammy Permaul took 4-12 to skittle the Windwards out for a mere 85 all out, Sunil Ambris topscoring with 26 not out.

Rain and water-logged pitches have really played havoc with these early matches....

There were 30s from openers Evin Lewis and Nicholas Sookdeosingh as Trinidad romped to an easy five-wicket over the West Indies U-19s in their 21-over affair, Shamar Springer taking three wickets. Earlier, pacer Ravi Rampaul had taken 3-11 and offspinner Sunil Narine 2-13 to restrict the youngsters to 97-7, with the only resistance coming from openers Shimron Hetmayr with 50, and Tagenarine Chanderpaul with 31.

Jamaica hammered the Leewards by nine wickets. medium-pacer Dave Bernard took 3-10, leggie Damion Jacobs another three, and leftie Nikita Miller two, to dismiss the Leewards for a mere 114, Orlando Peters topscoring with 20. Nkrumah Bonner (52) and Tamar Lambert (30) were the not out batsmen who cruised to victory with more than 17 overs to spare.

The CCC had another match, this one against the Windwards, which was abandoned without a ball being bowled.

Guyana won an exciting 36-overs match against Barbados by two wickets. Kraigg Brathwaite hit 73 in Barbados's 168-4, and there were two wickets each for Scantlebury Searles and Ryan Hinds as the Guyanese were reduced to 77-7. Then, Raymon Reifer hit 84 not out, and he was supported by first Veersammy Permaul with a patient 11, and then Dev Bishoo with 26 not out, as they chased down the target.

Trinidad secured a narrow 17-run win over Jamaica in their key match at Queen's Park Oval. West Indies rejects Darren Bravo (55) and Kieron Pollard (41) piloted the hosts to 232 all out, pacer Derval Green taking three wickets, and there were two each for Marquino Mindley, Dave Bernard and Nikita Miller. Medium pacers Rayad Emrit (5-56) and Kevon Cooper (3-34) then combined to bowl the Jamaicans out for 215, Nkrumah Bonner topscoring with 51, while Andre McCarthy (37) and Bernard (40) were the only other batsmen to offer any resistance.

In the battle of the minnows, the Leewards secured a 48-run win over the West Indies Under-19s, thanks largely to an unbeaten 113 from the bulky Rahkeem Cornwall. The Leewards made 231-8, with Odean Smith taking 3-37. There were two wickets each for Gavin Tonge, Jeremiah Louis and Hayden Walsh Jr, as they restricted the WI U19 to 183-9, Roland Cato topscoring with 46.

In a topsy-turvy round, the CCC weathered two wash-outs and won their last group encounter by a narrow one wicket to make their way into the semi-finals. Rovman Powell took 3-20 and their were two wickets each for Keron Cottoy and Kyle Mayers, as the CCC restricted Guyana to 171-9, Royston Crandon topscoring with 39. Paul Palmer topscored with 32, and Rovman Powell made 31, but pacer Paul Wintz and leggie Dev Bishoo took two wickets each to reduce the CCC to 112-8, before Chris Powell hit 27 not out to guide them to victory with one ball to spare.

In contrast, a total of 693 runs were scored at that very small Scarborough ground, but it was all in vain for both Barbados and the Windwards, who were both eliminated. Johnson Charles hammered a massive 177 in the Windwards score of 374-6, while Sunil Ambris and Shane Shillingford both hit 45s, medium pacer Scantlebury Searles taking 3-60. Despite half-centuries from Kevin Stoute (81), Shamar Brooks (61) and Shai Hope (58), Barbados were bowled out for 319 by left-arm pacer Delorn Johnson (4-63).

Jamaica easily secured qualification to the semi-finals in an easy, one-sided match against the West Indies Under-19, winning by nine wickets with more than 21 overs to spare. There were two wickets each for pacers Marquino Mindley and Derval Green, as well as spinners Damion Jacobs and Nikita Miller, as they combined to dismiss the WI-U19 for a paltry 137, Michael Frew topscoring with 33. John Campbell (61 not out) and Jermaine Blackwood (53 not out) easily hit off the target with the loss of only Nkrumah Bonner (10).

Trinidad finished their group unbeaten with an emphatic 49-run win over the Leewards. Allrounder Kevon Cooper hit a swashbuckling 62 not out in Trinidad's unimpressive total of 206 all out, receiving support from Dwayne Bravo's 42, while pacer Gavin Tonge took 3-33, and there were two wickets each for Orlando Peters, Hayden Walsh, and Anthony Martin. Bravo then took 3-40 to skittle the Leewards out for a mere 157, and there were two wickets each for Sunil Narine, Rayad Emrit and Imran Khan. Wicketkeeper Devon Thomas topscored with 30.

Veteran batsman Shiv Chanderpaul hit 98 not out to guide Guyana into the final. First, spinners Veerasammy Permaul (3-38) and Dev Bishoo (3-33) combined to restrict Jamaica to 188-9, wicketkeeper Horace Miller the only batsman to offer any resistance with 64. Part-time spinner John Campbell then took 3-20 to reduce the Guyanese to 90-4, but Chanderpaul then combined with Royston Crandon, who hit an unbeaten 45, to take Guyana to victory without just under two overs to spare.

In an unsurprisingly one-sided semi-final, hosts Trinidad crushed the CCC by 41 runs in a match reduced to 32 overs by rain, which was fitting, since it was rain that ensured the unfancied CCC reached the semis in the first place. On a typical Queens Park Oval pitch where runs were hard to score, Trinidad notched up 159 all out through knocks of 48 from Jason Mohammed and 37 from Jeremy Solozano, with pacer Chris Powell taking 5-22. Set 156 to win off 32 overs by D/L, the CCC were never in the hunt, bowled out for a paltry 114 by pacers Ravi Rampaul (3-17) and Dwayne Bravo (3-22), the only batsman offering any resistance being Paul Palmer with 37.

It was an embarrassingly one-sided, 135-run victory for Trinidad over Guyana in the final on a typical fourth or fifth day pitch at Queen's Park Oval, where runs were hard to score, and had to be ground out on a deteriorating wicket. Jason Mohammed hit 117 not out, but there was not much else, as Trinidad made an imposing 200-8 off their 50 overs, left-arm spinner Veerasammy Permaul taking 3-22, and there were two wickets each for Royston Crandon and Paul Wintz. Then, right-arm offspinner Sunil Narine, on his return to action, took a stunning six wickets for nine runs to skittle out Guyana for a paltry 65 all out, Trevon Griffith being the only batsman to reach double figures with 31. There were two wickets each for Dwayne Bravo and Mohammed.
