i'm more nervous about how we do the last 4 games than the first 2 , i'm expecting us to lose the first 2 but still qualify

Watched Vaughan on the telly this morning, responding to Boycott's attack on Morgan. He thinks that England would need to overperform to have a good world cup, and Buttler and Morgan would have to have an excellent tournament.

On the first match, he seemed to think that England have to hope that Australia get stage fright

I'd go further and say that that is true of their games against most teams apart from the minnowiest of minnows. I'm quite happy that they will progress out of the group stage, the way the format has been organised it would take a staggeringly shambolic, and almost neverending series of humiliations for any of the top eight to not make the QF's

I agree with him about morgan and buttler , if we are going to turn decent totals into match-winning totals then we need one or both of them to be scoring the big cameos, we are one of the worst of the top 8 teams in the last ten overs with the bat as well as the ball
