the pitch being half in sunlight half in shade has really helped Australia here

as people will know I am a big baseball fan and its something that gets talked about a lot about how hard it is for the batsman/hitter to follow the ball as its moves from shade to sunlight or vice versa , statistically it has been shown to make a huge difference

hard to see a cracker at this stage. NZ will have to hope that Boult pulls out all the stops and Southee suddenly rediscovers his lost swing.

I nearly got out of bed late last night to say that I had a feeling big Mac would flop today. Wish I had now.

Odd that Elliott is the one holding everything together. By the end of the group stage he was one of my FL donkeys
