Huh? No they don't. Hull are down if Newcastle win, even if Hull win 10-0.

Seems like he was sacked at half time, though West Ham claim it was a computer glitch.

Not sure what West Ham are expecting. A push for Europe so they can fill their free football ground?

On Sky Sports news this morning, they brought up all these stats from the past season. Most passes, most short passes, most long passes, most possession, and so on. Anyone else not give two hoots about these pointless stats? It's not Gridiron.

Some stats are useful but i don't care about any of those ones. Goals, assists, chances created are the only ones that matter really.

Very gracious of him...

I cannot wait for the day that he leaves Liverpool. In fact, I cannot wait for the day that he leaves football altogether. His arrogance is off the scale, and he is basically stealing a living as a top flight football manager thanks to the great platform that the likes of Di Matteo put in place for him at Swansea.

I cant decide if this is sarcasm, or if this is a surprising rebellion in the Liverpool fan base that wants him out?

Personally, I think he is lucky he isnt subjected to enmass criticism, he bought very poorly this year, wasted a huge amount of money and have left Liverpool in a relatively bad position, even with Suarez leaving taken into account.

Just because I like Liverpool, doesn't make me a fan. And infact, under Rodgers, I don't like Liverpool - I've just never been bothered to change my details on here. I cannot stand the man. Give me Rafa, Riise, Hamann, and Hyppia any day over Rodgers, Mario, Sterling and Henderson.

Rodgers was a total disaster at Reading, and his success at Swansea was, like I say, largely down to the foundations which were already in place when he arrived. Just as they have been for Laudrup and Monk too. He fluked his way into the Liverpool job, and was massively fortunate to have Suarez in his team last season. It's not just the purchases this year which were poor. Every purchase Liverpool have made since he became manager, with the exception of Sturridge and Coutinho, have been poor. I mean, Joe Allen, come on.

6th place in the Premier League and FA Cup semi-finalists

Blimey, Liverpool fans don't half expect much do they? Most clubs in the Football League would love a season like that.
"Stats are there to be broken" Dominic Cork
"They took all our players away, banned our captain and we still came away with a ten-wicket victory" Jason Gillespie
"You won't get anywhere slouching about half out of bed" Geoffrey Boycott
