I know it was a lucky innings because he could have been out before scoring a run, but there is something remarkably "Aussie a la 1997-2005" about the way Root has made Australia pay. Running out of superlatives for the lad, he really is a top player

I think these days the umpire takes twenty minutes from when they come off, rather than coming back at the designated time. Just something I've noticed.
