Smith is doing what Punter used to. Coming in, and scoring quick. Next step is to score big, which he did mange in his last test, in fairness.

Interesting to see what Australia do after this series. Braddin and Rogers are retiring. Harris has gone. Godfrey, Frazer and Jones are nearing the end. But they are playing a strong NZ side, and they won't want to lose to the neighbours. The team for the first Test will be interesting to see.

Yes it's going to be interesting, bowling should be fine, but they are a little fragile in the batting department.
