Nice levers from Ian Bell
"Stats are there to be broken" Dominic Cork
"They took all our players away, banned our captain and we still came away with a ten-wicket victory" Jason Gillespie
"You won't get anywhere slouching about half out of bed" Geoffrey Boycott

The wicket to runs average since the 90's I think is about 3-4 runs higher, so indeed, he would probably average about 25 like you said.

Makes Steyn's average and strike rate remarkable.

It's the main reason I think he is the best fast bowler of all time

His record in places like India on those dead pitches is truly remarkable

Lead of 213.

What would be a good enough total here?

Would like to get somewhere around 400.

Ahh good morning all, just sipping my first cup of tea and not recognising any of these Aussie batsmen.

What's going on?

I get the impression that the tourist office in Norway has Test cricket on in the offices.

Good morning Mark, nice to see you.

Yes the Aussie tail wagged about as much as a pug dogs 2 miles out on a walk.

Australia are taking the kind of thumping that they normally serve England in the opening Test at the Gabba.

Rpw went up in the noughties, but its not been high since then. DRS has been a big help for bowlers.

Ha,ha yes and we are probably some of the few on here that are not surprised. It sets up the series nicely, although the Aussies are going to need some pumping up for the second test.

Any suggestions for a little bonding trip?
