Cricinfo says it hit the floor. Shane is right about conclusive evidence though, if the onfield thinks it carried.

Gonna start watching again. Was having a break from watching Captain Steely.

Hasn't cost many.

Not too bad a day for the Aussies now, with an old ball.

Buttler might have got away with that had he not walked.

There was a rather unpleasant scene after the decision was relayed to the players. Some dissent and a few gestures mainly.

Perhaps Buttler walked this time because of the previous catch ruled grounded.

I thought England were going to play in a spirit of rapprochement?

You just shouldn't walk these days, leave it the umpires and the technology. If the technology can't conclusively prove its out then its not out. Same applies to both teams.

Apparently so, it'll be interesting to hear what the reaction is to the good sportsmanship.

There was a flicker on snicko. Whether Shane would have seen that as enough to overturn the integrity of the onfield decision, I don't know.

Strange reaction from the umpire, shook his head as the appeal went up and then nodded & raised the finger as Buttler was walking off!
