Kamran Akmal was just out but had been doing ok. He obviously plays how you would want him to when you give him big bucks.

yes, it was live....

Did you see the packed, loud, cheering crowds at the match?

Big Bravo (3-15) and Derone Davis (3-29) knocked St Kitts out of the playoff spots, taking Trinidad to an 18-run win. Earlier, Kallis made a run-a-ball 31, and Lil Bravo hit an entertaining 30 off 15, in a match reduced by rain to 14 overs a side. Evin Lewis made an attempt with 40 off 22, but he didn't receive support from other batsmen.

Over in Guyana, Pollard took 4-30 to lead Barbados to a 14-run win over Guyana, and practically cement their place at the top of the standings. Earlier, Wiese took 5-30 and Bishoo chipped in with two of his own to restrict Barbados in a low-scoring match. Holder topscored with 30.

Assuming the profits are spent properly, that is....
:?
Trinidad had an exciting seven-run win over Jamaica last night.

Kallis hit 61 not out form 51 balls, and Big Bravo hit 49 not out from just 30 balls to set Jamaica a challenging total. Badree took 3-35, and there were two each for Benn and Big Bravo, but Russell hit 36 to give Jamaica a chance of chasing down the total.

Guyana had an easy seven-wicket win over Trinidad with three overs to spare. First, Cameron Delport hit 44 off 30 balls, but there was not much else, as Marchant de Lange took 4-23, and there were two wickets for Bishoo. Then Hodge made 33, and Simmons struck 65 not out from 51 balls, including five boundaries and three sixes. Big Bravo took two wickets.

It was the Bravo brothers show in Port of Spain!

Darren hit an entertaining 86 not out from just 63 balls, while Taylor took two wickets. Then Dwayne took 5-23 to give Trinidad a win by 27 runs. Cooper also took two wickets, and there were 30s from Gayle and Walton.

Trinidad had a six-wicket win over Guyana in the final eliminator, and they will play Barbados in today's final. Simmons first hit 64 from 51 balls, but there was not much else, as Badree, Big Bravo and Benn took two wickets each. Chasing a small total, Kamran Akmal led the way with 49 from 41 balls.

T&T won as they tend to. Great competition for Gayle, but also for Dwayne Bravo.

Nice to see KP did ok.

Curiously, this was the first TT win since the CPL broke up their great side....

It was the Cameron/Kamran show in the final on Sunday....

Akmal hit 60 from 46, and Delport 50 from 38, while Pollard and Emrit took two wickets each. Then, Smith hit 49 off 30, but there was not much else, as Benn took two wickets, and Trinidad won by 20 runs.

So, what's the team of the tournament this season?

I have chosen batsmen who had a SR of over 125 and scored at least 200 runs, and the bowlers who had an ER of less than 7.50 and took at least 10 wickets.

This is my XI....

1) Chris Gayle 430 runs @ SR of 160.44
2) Andre Fletcher (wk) 369 runs @ SR of 129.47
3) Kevin Pietersen 295 runs @ SR of 137.20
4) Darren Bravo 291 runs @ SR of 134.10
5) Marlon Samuels 325 runs @ SR of 130
6) Brad Hodge 298 runs @ SR of 141.23
7) Kieron Pollard 303 runs @ SR of 142.25 & 14 wkts @ ER of 6.61
8) Dwayne Bravo 173 runs @ SR 120.97 & 28 wkts @ ER of 7.34
9) Robin Peterson 14 wkts @ ER of 6.61
10) Sunil Narine 14 wkts @ ER of 4.94
11) Dev Bishoo 12 wkts @ 5.10

Players just outside of the XI are Lendl Simmons, Jacques Kallis, Dwayne Smith, Martin Guptill, Chadwick Walton, Johnson Charles, Evin Lewis, Cameron Delport, Shoaib Malik, Krishmar Santokie, Rayad Emrit, Marchant de Lange, Samuel Badree, Tabraiz Shamsi, Suleimann Benn, Jerome Taylor and Andre Russell.
