Maybe not, good recovery from Dawson and Smith.

Spoke too soon, as followed by a pathetic collapse.

Good to see that we've finally dropped Gatting. And I'm not surprised at all that we've rested Bird and Fidel ahead of the 4dayer on Friday.

Shame about those two quick wickets, particularly yet another stupid run-out. We were flying until that point. Need one of these two to make a 100, you'd think.

ECB's announcement yesterday was to delay the actual announcement until next week. The matter has been referred to their disciplinary committee.

Hampshire's good start being ruined by the loss of quick wickets...however track is turning..250 could be competitive here..

The loser of this game will surely want an Essex win in the Essex-Middlesex game. But I'm not quite sure what the winner of this game will want.

Good news that Glamorgan's game was washed out. Just the one point for them, and bottom of the table Sussex.

Looking a fairly decent chance our game may be washed out...

I confident that 280 that is a good score. But I'm not quite confident enough to say that I think it's a match winning score.

Two 100 partnerships in two days from Dawson and Smith. Great, sensible pairing. The fact that we were picking Gatting ahead of Smith for the first few games was just laughable (as is the fact that we're still loaning Dawson out for t20, whilst picking Gatting).

Agree, the forecast doesn't look great for the rest of the match though. Be interesting if we can even squeeze ten overs in, to constitute a match.

Perfect start for us, particularly considering they'll want to keep up with the DL par.

And as I say that Vince and Wheater leave a catch...

We have a game. Get another two wickets quickly, and the D/L target will pretty much escape their grasp (for a fair few overs, any way). They're 20 off it as it is.

Christ that wicket is massive. Warks within touching distance of DL, and the groundsmen hovering on the side.

Trying to rack my brain if I've ever seen Wood field at slip before. Usually it would Ervine to the spinner, if he was fit.

259 off 42. That's a result! 8 overs lost, but only 22 runs knocked off their target.

New target of 107 off 9.5 overs. Run rate goes above 10 (just) for the first time.
