From that it would seem there is some animosity....

It all stemmed from Warne being very public and vociferous with his condemnation of Starc in the Brisbane test last year, saying Starc was soft. Not entirely unwarranted.


It created a bit of a furore, but when Starc started to show some form - in the ODI's, I think - Warne claimed credit for it.




I think it is far to say that Starc has a long way to go to prove himself as a quality test bowler, but he is without equal (atm) as a ODI bowler.

Warne, on the other hand, has proven himself in all three formats, to be a complete wunker at commentator level.
