No standout teams emerging in the qualification. Got a few good younger players, could do pretty well

Won't get out the group stages, we can beat the minnows comfortably, but come up against some half decent team in a tournament with the pressure of the country on the players shoulders, they can;t cope.

Nah, 500 on England HT/FT. Hardly ever bet but thought this was basically free money.

Don't think he did? I'd imagine Greaves, or Hurst would have taken some, whilst Charlton played. I would think there were more easier games back then, though don't know. On the flip side, Sir Bobby did win the world cup.
