8 minutes added time?

Either there has been lots of injuries or the ref was trying to give Chelsea a chance.

seriously, how on earth are we top? We really aren't in great shape as a team or a squad

I'm still not convinced LVG knows what he's doing - we were woeful in the transfer window, and even today bringing in Valancia and moving Darmian to the left was an odd move - reckon the obvious move to limit disruption would have been to leave Darmian at RB and bring in Young at LB

This is why I went for Arsenal before the start of the season. Chelsea will struggle to retain the title, Utd would knock on the door, but ultimately fail, and City under pellegrini don't look as strong with a unhappy toure and Kompany. City have until late proved me wrong, and do have Silva missing. He obviously wouldn't have helped with their defending yesterday.

I fancy Arsenal for the title as well.

That usually means they won't win it!

I have to completely disagree tbh.

Darmian played lots at left back to torino because they had someone else at right back. So not really an odd move and he is better there than Young. Having Young and Darmian would be too attacking surely as full backs?

How were woeful in the window? We were good imo. Every signing has been a success. We bought 4-5 first teamers which is no mean feat and while they've been embedding we've got to first.

We're not top the league through just luck although it has played a part, we have been the best team in most our games, we have the makings of a really good side with a great mix of youth. Three potential world class players in Shaw, Memphis and Martial and 2 world class players in De Gea and Schweinsteiger. 3 games in a row we've scored 3 goals and there are complaints? Odd.

Also, no one is a Chelsea of last year, no one is vastly better than anyone else apart from maybe City. I think 2nd is very realistic for us.

I think Oct will really show where ManU really are. Away to an inform Arsenal, Everton and ManCity home. If they win all 3, they can genuinely dream of being title contenders. Realistically, I think they will get 4-5 points from these 3 matches, not more.

I also have serious doubts on Rooney. Right now Martial, Depay and Mata and getting the wins and playing good football. Rooney looks off pace, and very ineffective.

Looks like Lukaku had a good game last night. Probably playing better than any of Chelsea's strikers at present.

Certainly looks like a very congested table at present. 5 points separating 1st to 9th with Chelsea down in 14th.

Got to admit have been surprised by United topping the league. Credit must be given for the way LVG has managed to get all his signing to gel so quickly. Not sure i like the way they are playing, but its been effective. Tough month coming up though so might change.
