I can see Pakistan really struggling to get the last 2 wickets. The English bowlers wont want to be bowling....... They will be tough to get out.

rashid is a very good batsmen, has 10 first class hundreds which is a lot for someone who bats low down the order

he will be keen to prove his worth after his bowling performance as well

I preferred the 294 v India but it was certainly a patient knock. He must have lost some weight out there. Even Boycott couldn't occupy the crease for that length of time.

i was there at the ground when he made that 294 and can confirm it was as boring to watch as this one

i think his best innings will always be the one that saved the draw at brisbane in 2010/2011, without that innings we would probably have lost that series

It's difficult to pick a best innings out for Cook, as I think his innings lack identity or personality. He tends to produce one of his innings, that proves to be very useful in the circumstances. When compiling best innings by England players, I find it hard to pick one of his out above another. Some may feel more valuable that others, but they don't really feel different.The heat gives this innings a tint that feels a little different. But, probably, I'd pick one of his tons in India that allowed England a foothold in the series. But again, they lacked individuality.
