Glenn Murray on his own up front just isn't going to create anything, a bit like Kermorgant on Wednesday. No pace. Can't get anything going, so the ball basically stays in our half the whole game.

Callum Wilson injured sadly equals relegation.

At least if the worst happens I won't have to worry about priority points next season.

I wish they'd play a bit more like Blackpool did. Too negative first half, much more like it second, more pace up front, team can push up the field more.

I expect Soton fans will say they sat back conserving their lead, and we didn't create much, but I reckon they were getting a little jittery at times especially with all our possession in their half. Trouble is we didn't have any out and out strikers on the pitch, so the question is how you go from all that possession to sticking the ball in the net?

I think out of the five teams down there, Aston Villa, Sunderland, Newcastle, Norwich and us, you would suggest Newcastle have the strongest squad and should pull clear of trouble, but the way things are right now, yes it is a 6 pointer.

We were awful in the second half. Two home games in a row now that the away side has made a double change at HT when 2-0 down, and duly dominated the next 45 minutes. We just don't react - instead, we go totally into our shell and start wetting ourselves. The only difference between this game and the previous game is that you didn't Vardy and Mahrez. I'd be very worried as a Bmouth fan that you can dominate a half so much, yet create so little. (A bigger worry in my book than being outplayed away from home. That can, and will, happen in the PL.)

We need to learn to either react to our opponents making changes, or find away to get the third goal and kill these games off. To be blunt about it, the primary reason why we won was because of your lack of ability. Most PL sides really should have got something out of that game, based on that second half.

It's a shame really, because it takes my attention away from the first 45 minutes, where we were the total dominate ones.

Don't think Bournemouth fans will be that worried, our expectations for this season weren't very high, and with the injuries relegation is now a strong expectation.

I get a bit annoyed when people suggest Bournemouth are naive in their approach to the Premier League, and should be trying to grind out victories. We set ourselves up to do that in the first half and were rubbish. We totally changed the mindset in the second half, put a bit of pace into the team up the pitch, started passing the ball around and pushed Soton back. I'd like Howe to stick to what we are good at, which is passing the ball, and if its not good enough to get points then we will probably go down. Need to go from the first minute and not wait to go two nil down is the criticism of today. At least there were no Boruc howlers today, although Federici seems to been told to never catch a cross.

Need someone to step up and start putting the ball in the net, and the confidence will then build through the team.
