Just watched a replay of Peter Siddle getting his 200th wicket. What a pleasing moment that was.

Can't be too many cricket fans who wouldn't've enjoyed that. Doug Bracewell, I can believe.

Dougie didn't enjoy Sid's 200, or cricket fans won't enjoy Doug's 200 when it happens? Just taken wicket number 59, two down.

Twelve wickets doesn't make for a typical Adelaide first day. It's been a problem batting in the dusk with the pink ball, hasn't it? In other games.

The ABC were running this question this morning (ok, ok - this afternoon). I forget most of them, but I will throw up (in a nice way) what I remember, when I do so.

Peach. (although, I like Plum/b), Panther (as in the Pink), some wag came up with a TLA (three letter acronym) that I forget, but suggested a sunburnt Englishman.


I doubt that I will remember more, but you will have to believer that there were some decent ones.

A new plum sounds ok, though there are plums of every colour. It sounds desirable, like a plum job/etc. So does peach I guess, but they are multicoloured.

Trouble with the pink panther (a diamond is also desirable) is I can only imagine it coming out of Shane Warne's mouth. And most people will think of the cartoon character.

Burnt Englishman is a Pom, I guess, which works, assuming it's derived from pomegranate.

So... no one had the grapefruit...

Although it still doesn't change the fact cricket dying if you think Test cricket is healthy because basically only 4 teams play in the future.

although think Day/Night cricket can regenerate low mar gee games although that might be down to the historical moment than D/N cricket.
let see how the 10 or 20th day night test goes.
