Could also have made a strong case for Ashwin after laying waste to South Africa. I think he has taken a 5-for in each of his last 7 odd tests....

The ICC Awards are based on performances from September 2014 to September 2015 so most of Williamson and Ashwin's performances were too late.

For me Steve Smith is highly overrated. Against accurate fast bowling he's so vulnerable.
Work expands to fill the time available, so why do today what can be put off until tomorrow.
