The Aussies need a wicket, to state the obvious.

Wonder how many India would have got if they weren't going to get stopped by the target.

Not a great return to the side for Lyono.

Kohli is approaching his 25th ton in his 162nd innings. That is some conversion rate.

Virat Kohli is really starting to challenge my "Brian Lara is the best batsman to watch" opinion very strongly. Certainly never been a player in ODI's anywhere near him in terms of quality.

I can't get very far on stasguru (everyone in India checking records?) but from as far as I got, I don't think anyone has made a double ton away from home (so, not including neutral venues) in an ODI. In fact, the quick glance I was allowed, it looks like Viv's 189 at Manchester is still the record. Obviously, not going to be touched here, just for the stats-curious.

I was going to say Viv-like, but the commentator beat me.

Puts him now joint 4th on the list of most ODI hundreds.....Tendulkar aside, he is only 5 hundreds off second place, and has played about 40% of the matches.

And tendulkar hits a 100 every 9 and a half matches.... Kohli is 6.8.....

The boy boggles the mind. He's 27, and you think without injury he could smash every record in the ODI book

This will be the first time that a team batting second in an ODI at Canberra has won.

Gayle scored a 200 at the world cup although it was at a postage ground and against an Zimbabwe/associate team.
