City are in free fall, while Van Gaal is slowly dragging this team to achieve some results.

City are the miles better team though. If they pull their finger out they can still challenge for the title.

Still wondering if they'll do a Liverpool, and go 25+ years without winning the title after 20 years of dominance. Scale balancing karma and all that jazz.

Seems very unlikely, but with teams getting all these sky spondoolicks the playing field is levelling out somewhat and the competition is becoming more widespread.
