Probably getting harder to score, but the Kiwis not making a good fist of it. They are going to have to rely on pace off, whereas the Aussies have hardly bowled Zampa or Agar. Though they might have been useful with an older ball. Maybe not so good to bowl spin in the first six today.

Not sure about this one. Commentators seem to think the NZ score is well under par ; but I thought batting was looking progressively more difficult as the ball got older...may be hard work for Australia yet , especially if they don't get off to a flyer . Remember the perhaps inadvisable Agar experiment gifted NZ 18 free runs early on : without that the score may have looked very ordinary !
Of course a Warner or a Maxwell could come off and make it a walk in the park for the Aussies ; but I fancy if NZ bowl as well as they did against India this will be tight.
