Pellegrini said before the game that they needed 9 wins out of their last 10 games, now they need 9 out of 9! They didn't look like title contenders today, apart from Aguero there wasn't anyone out there who was giving his all for the cause. Silva had another poor game and Sterling was totally ineffective when he came on.

As for us, yep we look safe now, 3 wins in a row has pretty much clinched our Premier League status for 16/17. Last three seasons our record after 8 March reads something like 32 games played, 23 wins, 5 draws and 4 losses. Not expecting as good this year as we have a v tough run in starting with Spurs away next weekend.

Yep, we're at Spurs on Sunday. We got dicked 5-1 in the reverse fixture at our place, men against boys it was described as. I think we've learnt a fair amount since then, plus a bit less pressure on us now and more on Spurs.
