Anyone know why the crowd is so sparse?
Sports broadcasting media nut miscast as a hard-working family man. Or should that be the other way around?

People celebrating Holi apparently.

Also doesn't help that tickets went on sale 2 weeks before the tournament.

Still can't believe England picked 4 pace men.
Choke teams with spin in slow grounds.
Root needs to bowl is 4 overs here if England are to defend any 120-140 total.

Issues is I can see Afghanistan getting to a flying start when batting is at is best and with england having 4 pace men, Afghanistan will have plenty of easy batting overs to feast on.

In my opinion England need 140-150 to win this game.
120 will not be enough since Afghanistan will destroy england in the first 6 overs where batting is the easiest.

If shehzad bats any time the game will be over

Wow. Just turned this on.

Why is Ali such a slow scorer now - he is a naturally aggressive batsman - have the ECB beat the England into him?
Maybe

Decent contribution from CJ, given the circumstances.

We might see some changes if we lose this one. Jordan out, but still some batting there.

Shame that Afghanistan fielded badly against SL as they'd be in a great position to make the semi's.

TBH that makes no difference but the major issue is that the price is expensive.
reports are prices are around 30-40 pounds and some games are 50-70 pounds for non india games.

I know Emperor Clarke says we're not allowed to think about this, but remember, the head of the team, Andrew Strauss, is unaccountable for performances.
