People think that England supporters are ultra negative gloom merchants. Yet in SA, people were lamenting there wasn't a fifty over WC coming up so they could win it, and then they went from 2-0 to 2-3. Against SA in the WCT20, England won and everyone forgot their T20 record and the defeat against WI. And after a top order farce today, a few blows by the lower order seems to have convinced Lloyd that England are on top. Surely the English are deluded optimists?

Thats the hard way to make 142.

Well done Ali and Willey (and Jordan) to get them up to something vaguely defendable. God knows what the batsmen were up to...

Afghans will hoping Shazad can do his thing at the start of their innings. England will need to be a lot better in the field than they were in the earlier games.
